We are looking for a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing near Olympia, WA. This opportunity is available for the 2019-2020 school year and will have an opportunity for renewal if desired. Compensation for this position is lucrative and negotiable and pays significantly more than a traditional school-based role. Requirements:

  • Washington state Teaching Certificate
  • DHH Endorsement

Responsibilities Include (not limited to):

  • Develop and modify classroom instruction
  • Assess students’ abilities and conduct evaluations
  • Collaborate with school team to ensure support
  • Document progress and student growth
  • Collect data to document student progress toward mastery of IEP goals
